Roger Sendall

Deputy University Secretary

Roger has served UHI in various governance roles since 2010, he became Deputy Secretary in 2022 and is currently responsible for all corporate governance and compliance activities.

Roger provides day-to-day line management to teams within the corporate governance and records management department including corporate governance and corporate systems compliance, policies, complaints, information governance, archives and records management, risk management, data protection and legal services.

Roger has an MSc in corporate governance, he is a Chartered Secretary and Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute of the UK and Ireland. Roger has extensive board and senior management experience acquired from various executive and non-executive roles within private and public sector organisations including listed companies and the States of Guernsey civil service.
