UHI works with LEAPS (Lothians Equal Access Programme for Schools) and recognises its transitions course as a higher and applicants with this course will be considered by UHI on an individual basis.  For example, if you are made an offer to achieve SQA higher grades at BBCC, completion of the LEAPS transitions course may count as a higher towards obtaining those entry requirements.  Applicants will also have to meet any specific subject requirements for the degree they are applying to.
