Session Outline

The session will include an overview of the Aurora Programme, including its history and benefits as well as the move to online delivery for the 2020-21 programme. Ann will talk through the application and selection process and previous university Aurorans will talk about what’s involved in undertaking the programme and share their experiences and reflections. Ann will highlight the approaches to support programme participants as they continue their leadership development beyond the programme.

The session is particularly aimed at colleagues considering applying for the 2020-21 programme but is also aimed at those wishing to find out more about the programme, how to promote it in their academic partner or department and opportunities to support it. You can find more information on the university’s engagement with Advance HE’s Aurora Leadership Development Programme webpages.
