"I have had a unique and varied experience at UHI, and I would love to give advice to current and upcoming students and encourage them to study at UHI!

I started at UHI doing the Events HNC and then jumped straight into Year 2 the of BA (Hons) Business and Management, which was completely online for the rest of my studies.  

The switch from the HNC to the degree was quite drastic, and despite some challenges, I had a great experience. The course was extremely informative, and the lecturers were brilliant. The learning facilities at UHI were great, especially the new Nooks. It really helped to get away from home some days (especially during dissertation months!) and I was a lot more productive in the Learning Resource Centre.

I have come out the other end more self-disciplined, resilient, motivated and able to manage my time a lot better.  I am now working at the Impact Hub Inverness where I am learning various things related to my degree such as marketing, finance, admin etc.  I am exploring my strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes in the real-life business environment. I am already applying so much knowledge from my course and I am excited for what's ahead."
