BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology, 2019

"I graduated from the University of the Highlands and Islands in 2019 with a 1st class Honours degree in Architectural Technology. I now work for CRGP architects in Inverness as an architectural technologist. My work load involves a wide variety of projects with anything from education to domestic, we cover a broad range of construction sectors.

Outside the office, I am one of the Directors of the Royal Yachting Association Scotland, Sailing's national governing body. I'm also a DofE Gold expedition assessor and senior outdoor instructor.

I think the content of the course and the experience of the lecturers really helped me to get where I am in my career. I found in the latter half of my course, treating the course work like it was my actual job improved not only my time keeping but the quality of work I was producing.

If you are a current student, enjoy your time at university and take part in as many opportunities as you can."
