Nursing and Midwifery Discretionary Fund
An income assessed, non-repayable grant. Students must normally be in receipt of a SAAS bursary in order to qualify for an award. The standard maximum award is £500, with discretion for a further £500 depending on circumstances.

Students on Nursing and Midwifery coursesThis fund is the main source of extra funding for nursing students. It looks at all household income and expenditure and if there is a significant deficit you may be awarded a grant.
