Vacancy for Lecturer in Northern Studies
Come and join us at the Institute for Northern Studies
We require one lecturer to teach modules from across the provision offered by the Institute for Northern Studies UHI, to develop course materials where required, and to contribute to our very successful seminar series and bespoke short programmes. You will have the requisite skills and experience to teach on a range of topics and to undertake research degree supervision.
Applicants will require a PhD in a related discipline, relevant teaching ability at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues in teaching and administration. You should have the ability to initiate, develop and lead research projects, and display the potential for an international reputation in research and publication.
You should be prepared to work in a flexible manner and have an enthusiasm for curriculum development and innovation in teaching and learning, along with up-to-date knowledge of your field.
