New or Lost Phone

New phone or new telephone number? 

If you have already set up MFA with your old phone and now have a new phone/new telephone number, there are a few steps you need to undertake to update your authentication account and allow you to log back in when off campus.  

If you still have access to your old phone/phone number: 

  • Login to Microsoft Security Update and change or delete your details as appropriate. 
  • Using your old phone/number to verify. 

If you don’t have access to your old phone/number: 

Contact the UHI Servicedesk by email servicedesk@uhi.ac.uk from your UHI Staff Account, where we can reset your account to allow you to update your MFA to your new phone.  

If you do not have access to your UHI emails, you will need to contact your Line Manager who can log the request on your behalf.

Please note: We cannot reset your MFA method from a personal email address or from live chat. 

Lost your UHI work phone? 

If you have lost your UHI work phone, please contact your Line Manager who will need to submit the Hardware form on Unidesk.
