The Staff Development Fund accepts applications from colleagues from across the academic partnership seeking contributions for funding for HE accredited programmes of study.
The fund receives circa 70 applications a year and to increase your chances that your application is accepted first time round, this webinar will give you some advice on:
- Information on the criteria and types of programmes the fund can support.
- The application process, application forms and timelines.
- Navigating the application forms and how best to complete the forms, including how to address the questions to meet the criteria for funding.
The session will also provide participants the opportunity to ask questions.
Presenter
On secondment to the Learning and Teaching Academy, since September 2021, Debbie covers:
- University’s staff development fund
- Advance HE Aurora Leadership Development Programme
- Learning and teaching enhancement strand of the mentoring scheme
Debbie’s main role at UHI lies with the Faculties and Academic Standards team. She works closely with academic staff, subject network leaders and the Deans of faculty by providing high-level administrative support for the faculties in undertaking their quality assurance responsibilities with programme and curriculum development.
Debbie is a Fellow of the HEA and continues to mentor others to gain accreditation via the Professional Recognition strand of the mentoring scheme. She is also one of the Advance HE Aurora Institutional Champions.
