This workshop is a taster session for our Engineering courses at UHI Argyll.
Thinking about a career in engineering?
Come along to our workshop in our dedicated Construction, Engineering and Renewables Centre (CERC) in Lochgilphead and try your hand at working with metal.
During this session you'll have the chance to create your very own metal bracket from scratch, using tools such as a hacksaw, angle grinder, vice, drill and pop rivet gun to secure the pieces together.
The activity will take approximately 30 minutes. Please feel free to drop in at a time that's convenient to you, during one of the advertised timeslots.
If you'd like to learn more about our courses lecturer Duncan will be on hand to chat and answer any questions you might have.
All safety equipment, tools and materials will be provided.
