Meet our students
Jennifer, Literature and History student
I choose UHI as it was the only university to offer a joint honours degree in both theology and literature. My tutors had been great– supportive, helpful and encouraging independent and informed thinking. I’ve been really impressed by the support provided for the lectures online. I’ve done online courses before, but the support at UHI is by far the best.
Jennifer Mewes is studying the BA (Hons) Literature and Theology at Highland Theological College UHI.
Jean, Fine Art student
I have long been interested in art, which is why I enrolled. UHI is accessible and open to anyone regardless of age, UHI is an option worthy of consideration for many in their ’third age’. The mix of ages, and the sharing of life experience made BA (Hons) Fine Art a good experience, and the teaching staff have real commitment.
Jean Urquhart studied the BA (Hons) in Fine Art at UHI Shetland.

Kenny, theology student
I've always wanted to study theology and now I have enough time to. I didn't have to move it worked really well for me as I don't think I would have been able to do it had it not been online.
HTC was highly recommended to me by friends, and the highlights have included meeting other students, learning new things and learning Greek. I would definitely recommend for people to study here, it's a great place to learn and I'm just really glad that I'm studying here.
Kenny Erasmuson is studying BA (Hons) Theological Studies at HTC, a partner of UHI.
