The UHI Centre for Golf, located in the historic town of Dornoch, Scotland, is home to the world-renowned Royal Dornoch Golf Club. As a PGA partner for professional golf education in Scotland, we attract students from across the world, offering top-tier education, practical training, and strong industry connections. Our programs prepare students for exciting careers in the golf industry, including management, coaching, performance, and golf tourism.
Why Your Support Matters
Our student-athletes work tirelessly to develop their skills and compete at the highest level of university golf. The UHI Golf Team represents the university in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Golf events, traveling across the UK to face the best teams in the country.

The Challenge: Help Us Compete on a Level Playing Field
Unlike larger, well-funded university golf teams, UHI student-athletes often cover their own costs to compete. Travel, accommodation, and tournament fees add up quickly, with each away match costing approximately £1,500. Our students travel by car, train, and even overnight buses, making significant personal sacrifices just to play.
With your support we can:
- Help our team compete at the highest level in the Scottish and British University Championships and The R&A Tour Series.
- Provide safer, more reliable travel and accommodation, ensuring our players can prepare and perform at their best.
- Reduce the financial burden on students, allowing them to focus on their game and studies.

- £50 – Helps cover the cost of tournament entry fees.
