Gordon & MacPhail are internationally renowned malt maturation experts and a retailer, UK wholesaler and distiller. Managing a portfolio of casks, they have carved out a unique niche in the Scotch malt whisky market as experts in understanding how to match cask and spirit. They also now distil gin at their Benromach Distillery in Forres. Known as “Red Door”, after the iconic opening to their old malt barn, the gin is handcrafted in a copper pot still, named “Peggy” after the wife of George Urquhart (2nd generation).
