Clinical simulation suites
Our clinical simulation suites are designed to represent current clinical equipment and healthcare environments.
These two six-bedded wards are available to hire each with an impressive amount of floorspace which can be configured to meet your training needs. For enquiries or to make a booking for the clinical simulation suite rooms please get in touch.
Each ward is equipped with:
- Trough sink
- Profiling beds (fully functioning), bedside lockers and chairs
- Overbed tables and dressing trollies
- Drugs trolley
- Resuscitation trolley
- Dressing trollies
- Folding curtain screens
Each bedspace is equipped with:
- Oxygen and Medical air regulators (both are supplied with compressed air by a compressor located in Sim Lab 2)
- Suction regulator, cannister and tubing (there is no vacuum)
- Ample power supply (standard 220V)
Equipment available by arrangement:
- Part task trainers (catheterisation, venepuncture, nasogastric tube insertion etc.),
- QCPR Annie
- AED trainers
- Clinical equipment stethoscopes, sphygmomanometers, pulse oximeters etc
- Disposable equipment such as fluid-giving sets, needles and syringes etc. sourced from NHS suppliers.
- Break-out and additional rooms are available
