Bespoke programmes
Our bespoke international programmes are coordinated by people who are passionate about what the north of Scotland has to offer students, university staff and industry professionals alike.
The itineraries and programme content are tailored to each cohort’s learning objectives and interests outside of the classroom. Our aim is to help groups learn from our academic and local industry experts while also taking time to enjoy the scenic and leisure opportunities that are unique to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

Students
We offer institutions from across the globe, the opportunity to design tailored study abroad programmes from one week to one year, allowing students to learn from local specialists and gain an international perspective on their area of study.
While using our facilities as a base, programme leaders also benefit from on-site expertise, minimising the challenge of organising programmatic elements.
Academic staff
We welcome university colleagues from around the world to learn from our specialist academic provision. Whether for a single staff member on an Erasmus+ mobility or for a group of academic or administrative staff, we can facilitate opportunities to guest lecture, take part in a training programme or job shadow.
Using our proven model, talks and tours will complement each other and the specialisation of the staff.
Industry professionals
We have close links and a strong reputation with industry, which enables us to offer international groups the focussed, professional training they require.
Our programmes are tailored to individual organisations’ needs, combining academic expertise with industry know how. From entry level to experienced staff, we can design and deliver custom-made training in your country, or in Scotland.
